Salsa Salad

This salad can be made from any fresh greens. I use the "toss and chop" to reduce both preparation and chewing time.

1 head romaine lettuce
1 bunch kale
1 bunch spinach
1 ea red and green pepper
1 C. raw corn
3 seeded tomatos
1-2 jalapeno peppers (or use milder anehiem)
1 small onion
1 bunch cilanto
Toss 'n chop all ingredients until uniform in size. Adjust ingredients to suit taste. No dressing is needed. Yum!

Sprouted Nuts

Raw, unsprouted nuts contain enzymes in a "dormant" state. Activate the enzymes in almonds, cashew, sunflower, sesame & flax seeds by soaking them in water for 24 hours.

Rules for sprouting nuts & seeds

  1. Rinse nuts well before soaking
  2. Soak 1 cup nuts/seeds in 2 cups water
  3. Use purified or spring water
  4. Store nuts/seeds in refridgerator
  5. Use within 1 week

Ice Dream

Frozen mango, pineapple, papaya and banana or your favorite berries make this cool refreshing treat a favorite.

In a heavy duty blender cover fruit with purified water and blend on high speed until smooth. Add 1 packet stevia sweetner and enjoy!

If you don't have a heavy duty blender, allow fruit and water to stand 20-30 minutes to soften before blending.
